hay cajon i installed my side pipes a couple days ago .muffler shops tell me that on that i cant convert my jeep to duoles. therefore im thinking of cutting into the existing exhaust and installing electric cut outs.used to do that on my street legal hot im no longer considering headers, wont gain anything.hay have a great week.

No, I've never installed headers on a 3.8, last time I did that was on my '81 Ram D150 with the 318 and, honestly, with that truck, there wasn't much I could do for fuel mileage lol but with dual exhaust, it sounded good!

Thanks for the welcome. I've enjoyed the Caliber Forumz since I bought it, and was glad to see a Jeep forum sister site. I've seen several names here that I know. I just picked up the Patriot this evening and love it already.

Hi Cajun, I have A question. I am looking for a good used engine for my 91 yj. I do have to pass emmissions where i live. For simple engine change over (basically hook up existing wiring harness) , do i have to go with the same year engine, or can i get a newer one, that will work ? thanks btw, i am up for suggestions on where to find a good used engine. 6 cylinder
